    • Did want to say they were all about money and really just eye-candy. Has made me relish Nature’s shine all the more. Just couldn’t find the right pics for that. Then I looked at our nearest stars, other than the sun, and globular clusters sparkling like fizzing diamonds last Wednesday night in that big telescope. Awesome … and I couldn’t photograph them!

      • That’s an interesting distinction, Meg. I’m not really equipped to photograph stars either, but you could catch the sun’s reflection in water for a shiny sparkle. I had an interesting photo op the last time I was in Hawaii. It was very dark there, and Venus was hanging over the water one night when the waves were oh so still. I was able to photograph Venus and its outstanding reddish reflection in the black water, almost as if it were the moon, or the sun.
